BIO: Hello! You can call me Yuya. I'm from Sendai, Japan. This is my second year in Daybreak Academy. I'm a Tamer, and Odd-Eyes is my familiar. He's the big red dragon that hangs out in the courtyards. He's friendly but he tries to steal food sometimes. I speak Japanese and English but not very good French. I'm also in the theater club. I'm in Lumiere 203. Let's be friends!

i kind of feel like i shouldnt let him out of my sight

but i also dont want to have my nightmares in front of him

or make him leave the room instead

[ It's because Toki is worrisome and if Kano were his roommate, he would make sure to be there every night instead of hecking off all the time like he always does. He's sure Yuya is the same way, wanting to be there for Toki unless somebody else needs him- like when Kano selfishly had him stay over before. ]

Are you embarrassed about your sleeptalking or something?????
You could ask Toki to wear earplugs at night!!!

[Toki is immensely worrying, but Yuya knows by now he can't control him. If he didn't know Toki doesn't tend to spend the night sleeping there, he might have more reservations. But Toki will go where he wills.]

You know how he is, he just says whatever he thinks people wants to hear???
What is it you want, if you don't care about bothering him?
People usually find it more comfortable sleeping in their own bed, after all.

i care about bothering but he says my nightmares don't bother him

but because he's not always honest i don't know how true that is

i said maybe he could try one in lyon instead of soleil

but he said he'll keep trying with them right now

he's not really not okay

and you know Toki not being okay isn't your fault right?

Is the one in Lyon really that much better????
I wouldn't know bc I've never been!
How far is Lyon from Soleil?

[ just ignores that question, which should be all Yuya needs to know about how Kano feels about that. ]

not that far i think you can still take a day trip by helicopter so he doesn't have to leave campus

but bigger cities usually have better hospitals i think?

There's sooooooooo many more people in bigger cities!!!!!!
It's not like Toki needs a brain surgeon or anything, he's fine~

[ What he needs is time and attention and large busy places like Daybreak or Lyon aren't going to be able to give him that. ]

[That sounds right... he guesses it depends though.]

i don't think he's ever been okay and when he lost his sister and became a seer it made everything worse

yeah

i handle taking care of her but Toki likes having her around

but he was trying to train her to do tricks and wear a clown suit

she wasn't interested

[That sounds bad but it's not wrong.]

i don't think he'd mean to but he lost interest in being responsible for her really quickly

and i don't want her to suffer because his problems mean he can't look after her properly

a cat's a lot more work
