ACCOLADES: (Here is a list of leading roles Yuya's has in school theater performances over the past two years, plus a glowing review of his familiar Odd-Eyes)

BIO: Hello! You can call me Yuya. I'm from Sendai, Japan. This is my second year in Daybreak Academy. I'm a Tamer, and Odd-Eyes is my familiar. He's the big red dragon that hangs out in the courtyards. He's friendly but he tries to steal food sometimes. I speak Japanese and English but not very good French. I'm also in the theater club. I'm in Lumiere 203. Let's be friends!

[Toki hugs back, and the tears finally come despite his trying to will them away. He's crying both for himself and Yuya.]

I'm going to fix this! I don't want you to worry while you're gone!

[Trying to protect everyone while fighting the Herald is enough of a burden.]

Just--[Yuya breathes deep, squeezing his eyes shut as he clings.] Don't give up, okay? You were doing so good, before... A-and I won't be gone long, okay?

[yokeye]

I won't.

[No matter how much he wants to sometimes; he won't let it get to him.]

I'll get there again! Thank you... for not giving up on me.

[He squeezes Yuya tighter for a moment.]

Come back safe.

I will. [He sniffs.] So you have to still be here when I do. It's going to be okay.

[yokeye]

[Toki lets go to pull back and look Yuya in the eyes.]

I'll be here, or well, maybe not here here, but Soleil, or... I'll be okay.

["I'll be alive" is definitely not the clarification to go with right now.]
