[It is both hard, and easy, to not think about what got them here in the first place. The conversation in the trailer, the promise that was made... Stretching only slightly to put himself more at ease, he has to give a half-smirk; it is still to warm perhaps, too much like a smile, to be called a true one.]

Flexibility is nothing without speed and technique, aah? Between us both, I, the man Gongenzaka, should say that you are still far more suited for the role! [He laughs.]

[Yuya leans back on his hands, raising an eyebrow.] I wasn't competing with you.

[There's space in the carnival for more acrobats! Not that he actually expects Gongenzaka to venture out of his role and into the big top. Still, his new unnatural flexibility probably makes him bendier than Yuya.]

....Did....it sound like a challenge, what I said? [He asks, honestly confused.]

I, the man Gongenzaka...simply feel that 'acrobats' would still be far more skilled than myself, in other ways..! [He laughs.] Ways that you, and others, have certainly spent more time working with.

[Yuya snorts. Gongenzaka is still so serious in the end... But Yuya wouldn't have him any other way.]

Sure, sure! [He laughs a little, putting a hand to his chest.] I'll take it as a compliment, then.

[Which he sounds absolutely shameless about. He sure doesn't mind flattery.]

Mn... [There is a bit of staring...but when Yuuya begins laughing he relaxes, laughing warmly himself as his tail shifts.]

[And with that he quiets once again, settling to stare at the sky. At least this much can be enjoyed.]
