[Yuya shakes his head.] I didn't recognize any Fae that pulled people into the water like that. I guess... she was probably from the Winter Court.

[He's pulling back on what he learned from his brief, alternate life. The Summer Court had more of a presence there, but he's pretty sure something like that is closer to Winter's domain.]

Mnh. It's not that. He said the sword cut the water, and then they got away... ...but he also said, he didn't say 'I'm here to fight you!', like heroes in books.

...I said, that was probably why he lost. But... ...I guess even though he cut her water, she probably would have been stronger than him still...so I wasn't right...
