BIO: Hello! You can call me Yuya. I'm from Sendai, Japan. This is my second year in Daybreak Academy. I'm a Tamer, and Odd-Eyes is my familiar. He's the big red dragon that hangs out in the courtyards. He's friendly but he tries to steal food sometimes. I speak Japanese and English but not very good French. I'm also in the theater club. I'm in Lumiere 203. Let's be friends!

[There's a box outside Lumière 203. It's covered with green and blue striped wrapping paper and has a string bow tied around it. The card is addressed to Yuya and reads - You were right - . When he opens it, he will find a carved wooden dragon. Its claws are resting atop a large crystal ball. It has no wings.]

[Kind of weird, but... he'll try and narrow down who it's from later. For now, that statue is going on his desk where he can see and appreciate it.]

[Gongenzaka blinks.] ...Why would I, the man Gongenzaka, not be able to wear geta to a dance?

I didn't mean you wouldn't be able to... but why would you wear your geta for dancing?

[betheman]

W...Why would I not?

[hippocarnival]

Won't they be harder to dance in? [A pause. ] Do you even own anything besides those geta?

[Even Yuya has a nice pair of dress shoes.]

[betheman]

It would be just as difficult in shoes I am unfamiliar with, would it not??

More than this, I, the man Gongenzaka, do not wish to buy shoes I will rarely use!

So you really don't own anything but those... [How has he not lost his toes to the cold. Sometimes Gon's a little too stuck in his ways, Yuya thinks.]

When was the last time we tried something new, Gongenzaka?

[Uhhhhh.]

....I, the man Gongenzaka, do not feel my shoes must be considered within that statement...

[Yuya waves his hand dismissively.] I was asking in general! It doesn't have to be your shoes.

[It could be, it just doesn't have to be.]

[betheman]

Auh! Well, then what do you mean by something new?

[hippocarnival]

[Yuya threads his fingers together.] Maybe... we could take a trip to Germany. It's what the helicopters are for, right?

[Neither of them speak a lick of German.]

[betheman]

[Wat] ....................We are near the border, but I should think asking 'why' would be a better question...

[hippocarnival]

Why not? All this time and we haven't been, despite being by the border. And the point is trying something new, right?

[betheman]

Auh....Yes?

Great! [Yuya gives a thumbs up.] Let's do it next month--maybe for my birthday?

I- If I, the man Gongenzaka, can make certain we have the time, I suppose..!

[HAha, what's he just agreed to??]

2/15 mid-morning

[Aaah... she didn't tell Yuya that she left too early. She's embarrassed -- deeper, more than that, really -- that she left early. She should have stayed. She shouldn't have told herself she would be okay.

She wasn't.

But... she can't tell him that, so her text is simpler. She doesn't want to worry him.]

How'd the rest of the dance go, Yuya?

[Yuya noticed she left early, though his floating from person to person had slowed down after the battle. But Kano was gone too, so he didn't ask. And he had other things on his mind the night before.

Nana's text is a welcome distraction from that, so he fires back quickly.]

[They both left at the same time... for all she knows, Kano realized she left early and came looking for her.

Still, Nana's flustered. She takes a bit to reply.]

I'm turning so red, this isn't fair, Yuya.

It was really nice... we talked for a while and it was just really nice.

I was worried about how it would all end up after the fight but it ended up okay.
